There is a difference between an upper cervical correction and a manipulation

Palmer Upper Cervical Chiropractic

At Doble Chiropractic we provide the finest Chiropractic care to those who come through our doors. We specialize in the Palmer upper cervical method. Palmer refers to Dr. B.J. Palmer who developed the method between 1910 and 1960. We correct subluxations which are misalignments in the spine that interfere with the function of the nervous system. These subluxations occur almost exclusively in the upper neck; referred to as the upper cervical region. The adjustment that we provide corrects the subluxation and restores the function of the nervous system back to normal – which a manipulation does not accomplish. When the brain can communicate with the body you can expect health; when the brain cannot communicate with the body you can expect disease. Subluxations result in numerous conditions such as migraines, headaches, high blood pressure, vertigo, back and neck pain, ear infections, numbness and tingling, shoulder and arm pain, sciatica and more.

Conditions

Our approach to health is aimed at correcting the dysfunction in the nervous system (vertebral subluxation), which in turn enables the body’s Innate Intelligence to do the healing. Often people want to know which conditions our approach can help; therefore we have provided a partial list of the most common conditions that have responded to upper cervical care.
